GM, i've been after a rat og from Blek for years for exactly that reason. Iconic image. The canvas version(s) are great, but for the money this is a steal IMO.

The canvas rats were 2 editions of 5, black on white and white on black. 40cm square. The last time i asked for a price they were 4k i believe.
The prints are an edition of 100, I sold my AP for about £220 last year from memory.....
You also get the mono rat prints, which were an edition of 20 all different. They from memory are around 1k if you can find them. Wiz had one for sale but he's not on here so much these days.....

They must have changed the checkout system as my receipt states 499,00 $ + 46,00 $ shipping, no tax. I've been on the lookout for the book which came with the rat print that came out some time ago and this comes out. Couldn't resist even though I should have. Does anyone need a kidney? I'll let it go for 546,00 $ plus shipping!

That is a slight exaggeration. You can pick up proper editioned originals for 1k + at auction. So a 30cm piece with and edition of 100 for $500 is not cheap imo

I have seen no editioned originals by Blek at around 1000 US or I would already own one. Unless that + of yours means a lot more $$$

I wouldn't worry too much, Mia and AP sounded quite professional to me. As for the artworks still being available, maybe it 's just because it hasn't been that much advertised/hyped... It's SF after all, not London ;-) I definitely felt more relaxed attitudes when I was there versus the whole usual London craziness...
