Mr Brainwash "Everyday Life" Print, by bullet on Dec 16, 2011 0:04:50 GMT 1, I noticed if you try to enter an incorrect password it says WRONG but if you enter the word PASSWORD the page reloads? Just thought I'd share that.
Its nothing to do with a password for getting a print. Dozy.
Looks like they have been hacked just before the drop and might have lost the site if it was not backed up.
What your seeing is the most basic thing the admin uses to start logging into their server.
Got a feeling it wont be back for a while.

Mr Brainwash "Everyday Life" Print, by iamzero on Dec 16, 2011 0:09:13 GMT 1, I don't think this 'dozy' poster mentioned that he thought the password was for buying a print? I may not have close to 4k posts to my credit there Mr. Freerange but I can at least read correctly... well small words anyway.

Mr Brainwash "Everyday Life" Print, by pcant on Dec 17, 2011 7:15:00 GMT 1, All apologies if this is considered too harsh, although really this is about the flippers. With every release, the percentage of MBW prints going straight to eBay grows. And there are more and more of those going unsold every day. I'm sure the artist doesn't really care, as long as the release sells out, but I wonder how long before flippers stop Hoovering them all up? Or is this just idiotic to even consider that the flippers might leave time for someone to actually consider the piece before buying in a panic? Yeah, I thought so.

Mr Brainwash "Everyday Life" Print, by Layaway Days Art Blog on Dec 17, 2011 11:46:19 GMT 1, With so many hitting the secondary market so early, I would imagine there would be a reduction in profit margin. Perhaps that is too naive.
Interesting that the elephant one for charity isn't going selling as much. Still more than 10 available. Not sure of the edition size though.
Bottom line, I hope the charities make a lot this Holiday Season and lots of Toys were raised for the Tots and families in Uganda get a bit extra. Regardless of the opinions on art, good on Mr. Brainwash to do this.

Mr Brainwash "Everyday Life" Print, by Deleted on Dec 17, 2011 12:21:24 GMT 1, Saw it get up to 42 right after drop. There's been about 12-13 reds alone listed with a few of them sold. It's easy money if you can get in. Same with dran and invader. Their secondary prices for the recent releases are making great ROI that woul make traders green with envy. And with the eurozone going belly up, and equities falling, there couldn't be a more competitive time for print acquisitions to flip. Times are really desperate when people are lining up early for an invader. And banksy wasn't a part of the action this year. There should be art futures for different artists. Buy the artist's next release, sight unseen. I'd take part in that. Nothing like a good punt.
Heartwarming sentiment at Christmas x
(and people wonder why the world is fcuked)
