I think his work is more effective in the street. He’s done a bunch of electricity boxes etc in the city here and they look fantastic. I just don’t feel the prints have the same impact.

Crazy mind, idea and composition, masterpiece ( for me - and for great intellectuals too : does art should be intellectual ? I say yes ! Must be smart and clever, creative , anywya another debate .. It's true that for people it's not a geisha nor a funny disney parody, but I prefer this kind of art, I don't buy prints for the guests and dining room, I have not dining room and I don't care ) |

Could someone advise if it’s being sent to the uk I would pay 20% vat plus admin fees? I’m a bit skint so extra 20% would make a big difference. Is that correct now?

It arrived then two weeks later he’s had a Vat bill from DHL the piece cost £460 including shipping from the artist. and the vat bill from DHL was for £105.

At least this is what I was told by the gallery selling the Gerhard Richter posters in Germany!
I’m sure galleries are as confused as anyone about what they’re supposed to do! 😅🤷🏻♂️
EU VAT shouldn’t be paid by UK buyers, but I think Germany has odd rules where the VAT has to be paid, but can be claimed back once it’s proved the UK VAT has been paid.

Some lovely clear photos of the print posted on EVOL’S Instagram which look brilliant.
He also says “numbered signed and individually ruined by the artist”
Always wanted a piece of his work I hope it translates well onto print as the street work is so strong.
