Others who have made 100 times less, are star with the out of a print or painting of a wall. Once, a gallery owner told me, "Aryz is too" old school "for me, his painting, etc..." Hey Yes, Aryz doesn't make stencils! Romanywg, the first, had visited him and had made a tribute in an itnerview, saying that the three best performers of the "new wave", whether say, etaient Aryz, Roa and C215. I remind that Romanywg is one of the first discoverers of talent from the time of Banksy, with Banksy also, of course.

What Aryz says about this one (I love the little explanations he is doing lately about the new murals)
"I always thought that the most difficult thing of painting in big formats was too keep the line gesture and the proportions like in the sketches. My sketches have a lot of mistakes and random lines, and somehow I wanted to reproduce that on a wall.
The more effects and colors you use on your work, the more you can hide the mistakes and catch the viewer's attention... when you use the line and not much more, the mistakes can be easily seen....
Thanks to all the guys that made this wall happen."

I got this 2 works from Aryz May I ask what the secret surprise was for getting both? I didnt get the print of Overprotected as I already have 3 of his prints and having seen that one being painted live, the print reminds me more of a photograph of the mural than a new art piece. SAL: Thanks for keeping us updated! It is funny to see people's reactions and opinions of art. |

In fact , to me it would make sense if it gets covered up...Everything is ephemeral and everything has to come and go. We love the sincerity in Aryz's view on painting et large in open public spaces. Video below is from the making of his 'El fin justificado' mural earlier this year in Bilbao.
