You post as much info as you want, and when you want. Nobody is saying to MUST post all that. Its a GUIDE
You dont get in trouble for not posting the size or price of a print ;D is that what your thinking? Seriously?

Sales Board Questions, by saint on Feb 1, 2012 17:25:17 GMT 1, Ah, so the guide is a guide and not the rules? so rule 7 is just a guide?
7. Don't hassle or abuse other members if you don't agree with their price. If you don't like it, don't buy it! and just leave the thread alone.
PS, no it wasnt serious sweetness, it was just a little joke as your thread was a tad sparse with info.

Is that a question?
I have never bumped a sales thread.

Sales Board Questions, by Karl Read on Feb 1, 2012 17:49:19 GMT 1, They are all guides? I posted on my for sale thread, saying bump. And i got a PM from you quoting:
"3. Don't bump your thread. If you must post, add extra info, photos, and answer peoples questions."
My post got deleted and my thread got put back 3 pages or so. Its happened a couple of times. I gave it a couple of weeks before the bump too.
Im not trying to be a d i c k, just wondering, if things have changed.
Good luck on the sales by the way. Would love that TM.

As it says, don't Bump threads, if you want to get it to the top, post extra info or photos. We don't need the forum full of posts that say just BUMP, or something similar that doesn't tell anyone anything. Bump doesn't help you sell your item give people more info, and help sell it

Sales Board Questions, by Daniel Silk on Feb 1, 2012 18:07:41 GMT 1, A BUMP is a post that's made just to get a thread to the top and adds no extra information and has no purpose other than to bump it to the top of the page.
If you need to get it to the top, post extra info such as price, size, photos, and changes in what your wanting or offering, or answering people's questions.

Hi,
Yeah i understand that. But in your previous post you said those are guidlines, to help sell an item, not rules. When you were referring to your thread about not listing a price. I was just wondering if the bump rule was still a rule or just a guidline like your pricing one?
Just to clarify, i have no problem with following the rules, im just a bit confused as to whats a guidline and a rule now.

Sales Board Questions, by Daniel Silk on Feb 1, 2012 18:26:29 GMT 1, When you post the photos, price, size, info about your own sale is up to you as it doesn't effect anyone. People are free to ask you questions or pm you if they want to know more, or you can post it later.
Bumping threads or trolling other people's sales threads does effect the forum and other people, so it's discouraged. I try to remove as many bump posts as I can see, and people who troll other members sales thread run the risk of being removed from the forum, or having those posts removed.
Nobody is gonna get in trouble for not posting the price or size of the print, coz that's totally up to the person selling.

Fair enough, just wondered what was a rule and what was a guidline.

Sales Board Questions, by Daniel Silk on Feb 1, 2012 18:31:17 GMT 1, No problem thanks!
It's just there to try and help things run smoother, but a lot of people just take advantage of this place and don't care how it might effect other members.
