PRICE CHECK: CHOOSE YOUR WEAPON GOLD OR SILVER, by redfred on Feb 28, 2012 11:13:43 GMT 1, i think that was a white one that was posted without the owners permission - right? Could be wrong but Gold definitely sticks in my mind, at the time everybody was under the impression that White was just a myth! I am certain I havent seen a White, pictures anybody?

PRICE CHECK: CHOOSE YOUR WEAPON GOLD OR SILVER, by portfolio on Feb 28, 2012 11:47:00 GMT 1, I assume that gold and silver are colourways of 25 just like all the others, so no more rare or common than the others.
Therefore, I think you'd need to be some kind of more money than sense moron to pay over the odds for a gold or silver.
But you know what they say about a fool and their money.

PRICE CHECK: CHOOSE YOUR WEAPON GOLD OR SILVER, by naughtyshorty on Feb 28, 2012 12:17:35 GMT 1, it was a gold that was shown on the forum..
Portfolio, you are right in one sense, but due to their scarcity by virtue of who was able to buy them, i think they probably command a premium above other prints and images..

are soon audited, i like it Manty.
naughtyshorty, i understand the reasoning of why they are more expensive, but its not as if they are comparable to a special colourway of 10 Nola's when the main run was a few shy of 300, for instance. They are all a run of 25, making none more rare than any other, no matter who owns them.
I'm not trying to offend anyone, i just think anyone wanting to spend £10k+ needs to ask themselves why they want to spend that on the same print that would normally cost a third of that. if they are buying it as an investment, in 30 years time, there will still only be 25 available of each colourway when they go to auction to fund someones pension pot.
curious george....semi available translates as 'if the price is right'. i would imagine every gold and silver is "semi available" if an arab sheik wanted to pay £100k per print.
