Not only was he a really cool guy but he did everything free hand without a sketchbook, stencils or anything else. We just mentioned a few vague ideas and he went to town....a total pro! Seeing these pictures, it is clear (I am fully biased) that he only continues to improve.

His price is rising each new edition with Luis Maluf Art Gallery.
I've grabbed one for R$330 a couple of years ago.
After that I bought from the same gallery for R$600 last year.
And now is R$1.250.
But I've passed this one as I'm out of funds for this edition due to the pandemic situation with reduced income since April.

Also R$ vs USD is not the best recently but he's coming put with very nice works! I got a couple of his prints too. Would have LOVED one of the variants but too expensive for this time of the year...
Completely agree with all your points: R$ vs USD, nice works and also about the expensive variants for a December edition.
What I really really would like to grab from him is a sculpture.
They're expensive (R$ 12.000 to 18.000), but i thinks is better than half of this price to a hand finished print. And they look incredible in person.
One last criticism to this Luis Maluf Editions os that most of them are digital prints and not silkscreen process.
