What do you REGRET Selling, Buying or Not Buying, by Heavyconsumer on Apr 14, 2008 17:15:12 GMT 1, Does the Blurry Mary thats on its way to me count?
Dude what's that all about? Why did you buy it? You haven't even seen it in he flesh and already you regret it? That's a real shame, I hope it's cause of the print and not ebay activity.
Something made you buy it, so maybe you'll be pleasantly surprised when it shows. This duratran stuff sounds interesting as hell.

What do you REGRET Selling, Buying or Not Buying, by Montubu7 on Apr 14, 2008 17:19:51 GMT 1, I could say not buying stuff at the '03 Santa's Ghetto but the only reason for that would be the worth of things now and I'm not too fussed by making cash from purchases. So I reckon going for a ยฃ450 rather than ยฃ500 bid for a Faile Butterfly Girl (the purple/green one) on ebay last year that ended about ยฃ455. Admittedly it would be worth a few grand now I imagine, which would be a pleasant thought, but more importantly there's only 12 of them and I've never seen one for sale since at any price.

i was being a bit facetious but you do have a point. A couple of things i are giving me trouble. I'm really sure i really like the image that much, i hate to admit it may have been something of a knee jerk reaction. I hope you are right and i feel it when it arrives, it will certainly be a talking point with my Catholic parents,. Which brings me to my next point being that i cant imagine letting me hang it any where. Plus i cant afford it.....

Oh, and i wish i had sprung for a Dface Cli-Che when they were going for under $1,000.00. I just can't afford one now.
My other regret is not going to the Banksy LA show because i had just worked a 100/hour week and figured i go the next weekend. then there was no next weekend.

So far this hasn't been flippable anyway! But seriously, if you email Chris, you can send a mesage via the receipt/invoice, I'm sure he'd cancel your order. He seems a very cool guy. If you tell him you panic bought and can't really afford it, he may be cool with that. These have not (I don't think) been sent out yet, so selling another on SOS should be easy enough for him. I know with absolute certainty it was the real deal, but as it had no provenance I figured it was the least valuable piece I owned. I needed a little cash at the time, so I sold it.
About 2 months after I sold it, I found out I could have had it authenticated by Laz. Words can't describe how much I wish I'd kept hold of that!

My wife mentioned ages ago that her favourite piece is TV peeps the one with a lot of oranges and reds.
So one came up on eBay recently, and I bid, got out bid, then totally forgot to go and nab it before the auction ended - we all do that right - and I missed it !!
The gutter is that its her birthday soon and I think she saw it in 'my eBay' because out of nowhere she was talking about it to a friend. hope she's not expecting it...
On the plus side though I saw a thread on here recently and as a result managed to get a Lucy original from her Show in San Francisco - can't wait to get it. Shame its not a suprise though as I had to ask permission, but hey - a happy ending!
