I feel this one. It didn't get away as I didn't actually try for it, but after seeing the pics I wish I had. Looks like a real painting.

Price was something weโd all probably be happy to pay today and just before the madness. One of my favourites, so sad to have missed it.

I couldn't justify the price with some other stuff I'd just bought, but he's one of my favourite artists. I should have just done it.
Timโs commission prices are pretty reasonable. Drop him a mail and heโll come up with a piece within budget.

Yeah his market mooned over the course of 3 months - must have been a good auction results or two and the rest is history. There were a few other artists I follow that had similar years...all of the sudden they were out of reach by a factor of 10. Where waiting even a month on a canvas made all of the difference.

Just bought a house so hard to spend $2500 on a print when that could buy me a washer/dryer and a new faucet.

Really wish I grabbed Kunaths release, the last perfect day. My biggest regret of the year Iโd say.

A gallery was selling an alec monopoly child-like-scribble... allegedly a 1/2.. I walked up to it and on the counter next to the scribble was an electronic lighter (the fancy Asian style one with the lights).. after talking to the gallery worker, she walked off to see someone else, right there, I had a chance to grab the electric lighter and torch the alec monopoly scribble. Unfortunately - I didnโt do it 
That, for me, was the one that got away for 2020.
