not sure why (logistics maybe... i.e. getting the artist to physically sign them) but signed prints often get listed on DP site AFTER the unsigned have gone up.
just a hunch. no 'inside info'.

โAn Ephemeral Artโ
A mayfly with wings of delicate smoke dissipating on the wind represents the ephemerality of most street-based art. Mayflies only live for a day or less just as many beautiful works of art are casually destroyed, often by children or the authorities.
This work also stands as a tribute to all of the art that was destroyed during preparations for the Olympics. Despite being sanctioned and much loved by the community and fans worldwide, many paintings were eradicated or replaced with corporate advertising.

Mikey Dread took me on a tour we were literally just viewing one of his pieces and say how much we loved his work. Walked round the corner and there he was taking a pick of a piece he had just finnished and was starting another.

The two painted side by side mirror like representations of their concept with they titled โLife Imitating Artโ. Another Impressive mural from both of the artists. Below is a statement about the new mural.

โThe two artists have been experimenting with new ways to collaborate over the last year. In this piece, two halves combine to make one painting. On the left panel Remi Rough has painted one of his geometric abstractions. On the right panel SHOK-1 then painted a duplicate painting in his signature X-ray style. It is not a straightforward copy though, check out all the details in the transformed piece to see the thought process.โ

Must be a recent piece.... he doesn't do many originals and you are correct he is a great guy. Never met him in person though, only chats and emails. I have sent several messages to forum moderators and even the creator so hopefully they add him. A shame he's not part of it (they recently added a "Shok-1 Framed Art" section but still no main thread that everyone else has. I asked Shok about it the other day because I thought he might have requested to not be here but he said that is not the case.
