heres some background
i managed to acquire three pieces of board with an original phlegm and david de le mano art on from my local council, the building it was removed from is set to be demolished in the next coming weeks and both the local council and the construction company were in agreement with the undisclosed price paid
im interested to sell and if people on the forum think it would be of any interest in the art community.
as this is a total one off i haven't been able to price and i'm relatively new to art collecting so im hoping for offers if thats allowed or trades.
it does have damage to the middle where its been knocked by a construction crew but this happened while it was still in place and photos show this

As for monetary value I think you'll be disappointed. I'd either give it away to some place that's happy to display it to be enjoyed, or stick it in storage and cross your fingers phlegm goes "Stik" and you might get a few grand for it.

I'm not a lawyer, but I also believe that intellectual property rights to the image are retained by the artist, except in some countries where these rights may not apply in cases where works are deemed to have been created under "immoral circumstances".
However, the image and the material artwork are two different things.
I do not think that the issue of intellectual property is relevant when it comes to ownership of the material artwork. The owner of the defaced material base is free to sell, just as the current owner is free to buy and resell, without coming into conflict with the artists' intellectual property rights.
An issue regarding intellectual property would occur if, for example, the owner of the material artwork decided to start selling tea mugs or mouse pads with the image.
