Well, I like the middle one and maybe the trees ,but how you say, 75 quids ?!! A tee ! Even The beautiful Kidult ones ( with meaning ) are cheapest or given away.

Hand painted may justify it, pulling by hand mean moving a squeegee across a screen... A process that takes all of 3 seconds.

Posting about Artists that you like its very natural and normal on an Art forum. If you look at the threads I have posted in the last few weeks you will notice most dont advertise here. As my position of Admin I also like to encourage discussion on Art that I dont like! many of the threads I start are actually of things Im not interested in myself.

I guess Kim Jong-Un is gonna be a big figure on the World stage for decades to come, so these images by Cartrain might gain more interest in the future than they are at the moment. I was trying to think of other similar figures that have appeared in Art in this scene over the years? How about saddam hussein for DFace.

I would imagine that any art would be furthest from my thoughts.
Regarding these pieces, my opinion is that they are not great.
His photographs remain the best thing I have seen Cartrain produce. I'd like to see more of those. Very good images of urban decay.

What makes you think he's going to be a big figure in anything but waistline? Kim Jong il, if we think about it wasn't really and it's been the same story with North Korea for 60 years. They will never use their weapons (if they really have them) because that's the only bargaining chip they have, and without them there's no rice or whiskey for Kim Jong un.
As to this type of art, I have no idea why people want images of mass murderers such as Mao Zedong, Saddam or in this case Kim on their walls. But each to their own. Interesting that to my knowledge no ones done a Hitler pop art...yet.
