thankyou illu2305,
did this one a little different to the others, and I too think it works better. tried to make the strokes much bolder and vibrant. trying very hard to create as much movement and wilder brushstrokes as I can.
Cheers for your post

Craig Everett ๐ฌ๐ง Rourke Van Dal โข Urban Artist, by sfinks on Jan 12, 2012 21:01:51 GMT 1, Nr 30 A bit off on the right side. The circle on his top right head took too much of my attention. The lower sides of the face and mouth wasnโt 'strong' enough for the rest of the face.
The eyes is stunningly good. The rest of the head and background. Very good.
Nr 31 This one needs to grow on me. I donโt hate it, but I donโt love it. But i want to see it more. I see many things in this one. Yea, to be this 'unfocused' I like it
PS! I still love nr 29 - that one is amazing.

Taken all that on board mate your honesty is much appreciated
I do these paints Fast and free, leaving the paint to do alot work itself. They are done with mainly a 4" & 3" brush and just Black & white paint. No preparation, no planning, no overworking, straight out of my head, bosh straight onto the hardboard. This makes them very Expressive. They will be different on a day to day basis as they are totally evolved by Mood. This makes each one different, sometimes they won't appeal to people, and thats fine.
They totally different than any thing, I have ever done. I really, really enjoy doing them. And believe it or not I get more satisfaction out of them, than any detailed painting that as took me, 2 weeks, 4 weeks to complete. I havent had a buzz like this, since I did the 'Load of Pollocks'.
anyways sorry for ranting, been on me tod today, just painting. and havent had anybod to talk to.
Your points have been cemented in my tiny brain. Massive thankyou sfinks

Craig Everett ๐ฌ๐ง Rourke Van Dal โข Urban Artist, by sfinks on Jan 12, 2012 22:05:05 GMT 1, I didn't know the process of making them. That was very interesting. Do you ever change any strokes during making them? Or does everything stay as it is, no mather what? Do you purely paint out of today's mood or feelings? I am starting to like these more and more. Looking forward to see the following.
But don't give completely up on what you have done before, cause some of that is just amazing
On this thread my favorites are: 25,27,29 and 30 All of those would easily make my wall if i had a gallery

This applys to the last 3 The main strokes of the face is applied with the background. as much work as I can do on face is done, when the paint is wet. so the underly strokes, with ths above layers. I keep applying strokes in black and white paint in a way to define the face. then when thats dried. I tart it up at the end defining the face further. This is how I am doing them at the moment. but this as evolved from the earlier ones. the mood thing, I was really in a confident mood when I created No. 29. and I think that shows in it. When you feel good I do better strokes. When I am pissed off they look different, but they may work as well.
โฆ hope you understand a little more
At this time I am really into progressing with this. Cheers very much again for your kind comments

Yes they are for sale, the plan is to build up a collection of them. I am going strip the original section, and the Print section down on website. Move some into the Vandalvault. And fill the original & Print section, will the new work. if an bods interested in any of these, or would like a deal on anything original wise on the webiste. PM me and I'll sort it.
