Just received the "Ophelia" canvas from Rourke and it's absolutely amazing. I had every intention to frame it but with the side details I just couldn't. I still think it qualifies for this post. Here's a few pictures but it really has to be seen in person to see all the detail. Every time I look at it I see more words, phrases and color details. It's now my favorite piece.

some stencils of new work will be available very soon on the website.
Will be a major re-vamp of the website, alot of work will be disapearing.
Making way for all the new stuff

It's fair to say The quality of rourkes work is stunning.. And to me shows how strange the art world we live in is.. With the prices his pieces demand, compared to other artists who produce, in my opinion, work that is no where near as appealing / quality.. But hey.. That's the crazy world we live in..
Trying to reshape my collection a bit towards more originals ..hence my thinning of prints like these..and is no way a reflection of my love of his stuff..
