Had a busy day in Rogue Gallery today, the first of my Inspirational Tours, inspiring and encouraging budding young artists from a youth centre in Carlisle.
Managed to start a new figure painting, underpainting below.

One I have been working on over last few days, still got a bit of work to do on it.

and a new one which I will be starting this week.

Here's Where I am with my latest paintings.
well I seem to have nearly gone full circle at the moment with the landscapes.
Cos I used to do them in my teens.
Also rather enjoying drawing scetches with a pencil recently.
and that is where I started, 40 years ago this year.

1st Remote landscapes
2nd Remote landscapes and 1 dweller
after doing a few more figures…
3rd inner citycape and people
with last few scetches they seem to be more estate dwellers, and more about where I come from.
which completes the circle, for the moment

Here's where I was born in 1969 and grew up.

It would be interesting to see this in bright colours, red and oranges etc.  It might look like a crazed, tripping clown or might be awesome.
