I hate doin hands! I know what you mean though a little, I try and hide them if I can (hands that is) a few artists in history have struggled with certain body parts.
but with it being one of my first. I had to say to myself STOP, cos I was frightened of spoiling it, if you know what I mean. I might try again to bring it in more.

Yeah from half way down the forearm to the knuckles on the hand. But seriously even with this it is very good.
Its just I think it would be excellent with that one exception. Put it this way the first image you posted without this element I would buy.

I too think the right forearm / wrist needs a bit of work. It looks a tad "stretchy" and not as dramatic as the rest of the picture.
Other than that, fantastic work!

I am trying to develop a style of my own, Impressionistic paint strokes and pen work to give it the feel of being scetchy, with suggestions to small details (ie. hands, toes)
I never intended it to be Realism. ;D

Dope colour scheme. The highlight in the background gives it depth.
Just a small comment, I think the hand around the trigger might need a little work. But heh... thats just my small opinion.

Both really, all white with acrylic paint and I dont use a fine brush use thickish brush but made flat to create fine lines an steady hand. The actual image isnt that big really.

Im not up on printing stuff but I do like pieces done on cardboard ;D its just add so much character to a piece, that might look a bit plain with a white background. Also adds some texture if you can use some sort of gloss ink
