"Itโs been a while coming but Iโm excited to reveal a little more about what Iโve been up to with my โsecret projectโ.
I've been leaving clues online and in the physical world for you and I know some of you have worked them out, but is there more to come?
MY Dog Sighs INSIDE (We shelter here sometimes)
โInsideโ opens this summer. A fully immersive installation in an as yet undisclosed location in Portsmouth.
This is my most ambitious project to date, spending over a year transforming a derelict building into an immersive world inhabited by my โQuiet Little Voicesโ.
When I first stumbled into Street art, the artists were often perceived as ghosts, with only the results of their endeavours visible to the world. With this project I take my quiet little voices and shift the the narrative what is understood by โMy Dog Sighsโ. No longer is My Dog Sighs the scruffy guy with a bedraggled Mohawk the artist you thought, but, by entering โInsideโ youโre able to catch a glimpse of A new, alternative, world.
Like us, quiet little voices are not perfect nor are their lives perfect. They struggle, they make mistakes, they fail. But like us too, they donโt give up. Even among the decay they use their creativity to find hope โ
For the first time Iโm moving into sculpture, fusing my visual language with space, form, light and sound, alongside the more recognisable facets that define my practice.
Iโve used this project to extend the boundaries of my street art practice and where I try, with street work, to uncover the beauty of forgotten spaces with images on walls, with this project I aim to magnify the entire experience and immerse you in it.
With this project I literally poured myself in and wrote myself out.

Runs from Friday 16th July to 1st August in a secret location in Portsmouth.

Yes I had some issues with inquiries submitted through the site but he does respond on : john@brandler-galleries.com. He let me know the gallery has been closed since March 2020 but was back there a couple of weeks ago.
