So art and ones taste should be soley based on the opinion of someone else with no knowledge of that subject?
In part I agree, the greatest art should have a sense of commonality to it. I have found over time that an understanding does bring a greater enjoyment too.

Like 'Big bang boom' or Muto ? my mates kids spent weeks drawing Blu type pieces after watching them. Im not sure how those pieces could be called anything but fun and millions of people have seen those.
