Mau Mau presents 'PIGS MIGHT FLY', by yeah on May 4, 2012 13:55:29 GMT 1, Wasn't this going to be an edition of 75? Mine is numbered out of 150 and now the west bank page says edition size 150 but only mentions where 75 are being released.... anyone know where the other 75 are?
Edition of 150.

your 1st question has already been answered elsewhere.
2nd question - mark (mau mau) got his name whilst visiting Africa (Ghana I think - he told me years ago but my memory is hazy) but hasn't ever lived there.
Chris (Beejoir) used to be a photographer in Africa and lived in East Africa for 1-2 years from my memory.

The one I got yesterday was signed and stamped with the Mau Lion. They are on thick stock with deckled edges...(about a factor of ten times better stock than the Blek "Print" was on!).
This show was off the hook...it WAS a "show" and not another sterile white walls pseudo-urban show. Nice guys at the gallery, Mau Mau (Markie), Beejoir (Chris) and team were so easy going and happy to personalise anything you put in front of them! Genuine Love for these guys.
So much thought went into the show, with the most awesome installations you will see this year...definitely check out the growing room wardrobe!
Mau Mau and team deserve all the praise they are getting for what was a total transformation of this avant garde gallery representing for West London.
My favourite piece was his take on Frieda Kahlo's masterpiece.

they should all be signed. I suspect they might have slightly lost count of how many were done, or coz a few have probably gone elsewhere (e.g. mark gave me one on Tuesday)

100% show of the year, makes events like the Stik and Blek shows look like a total money making passionless farce, still a couple of mid range canvases left, got a feeling his prices will creep up after this.

I've just spoke to the gallery and they had an issue with the checkout system. There were 20 prints available online but they had 4x the amount of online purchases so they will be having to issue refunds. So the guy from Sweden who's trying to flip 2 prints on the bay is going to be in a pickle as he definately won't be getting both!!
