You're right they're at a really odd angle... and the way the legs and feet have been cropped looks just plain weird too.
Good luck with the sale.... a nice concept/image although rather crude finish.

I think it'll do you more good than harm in the long run.
Nice concept, just refine the execution!
;D

Hey they just shot another guy today...don't think the size of hands is too important for that. Are we still on a constructive level here? ;D

You'll go a long way with that kind of attitude towards any criticism

Surely price shouldn't come into it ? If you are selling your work as an artist you should take pride in your work and want it to look the best you can, just because its cheap that should't mean it can be sloppy. The members on here will give you advice and feedback that can really help you progress i would take as much of it on board as you can, everything that has been said could really make this a strong piece just take some time to read though it again and look at the image and see what is being pointed out. I would buy it if it were cleaned up and better executed.

Pretty sure it's allowed to have fun with that. Posted before that I'll try to make this piece better but honestly I know I'll be not close to perfection then either...and that is just as it is when someone started doing artwork.

Maybe later..., by schnulli on Jul 4, 2012 23:23:50 GMT 1, I think all the feedback you've gotten on this (mine included) is reflective of shortcomings taken from looking at it in detail. The proportions, angles and photoshop cutting out all need fixing in my opinion. Take a look at The ยฃ50 Art Thread if you think that your low price is justification enough for trying to sell something that's needing quite a bit of work...whether it's on canvas, screen print or digital print.

Maybe later..., by yeah on Jul 4, 2012 23:26:41 GMT 1, the thing is that none of us can have a perfect life.
You are advertising something for sale, and you presuambly choose this forum as it has circa 13,400 members (i think), many of whom are very active buyers.
You can;t have brilliant free publicity, and no so-called 'negative' comments at all. That's the pay-off. It doesn't matter how cheap it might be.
The bigger philosophical picture I guess is whether any comments on here matter, or whether they should. I realise it is hard. It's not always nice getting constructive criticism.
I have a personal opinion about your peice, but I won't give it. Not much point really.

My peice is no amazing piece of artwork, I know that. Every regular on the forum knows that I have just started and everyone knows that I'm happy about constructive criticism but please in a slightly respectful manner. Guess you are not too much into respect yourself... Almost feel the need to explain that now but you might get it yourself.

sorry, i don;t understand you fully, although you do seem to somehow be trying to judge me, re respect?? Not sure why. Hopefully it's merely a language problem because you seem to be getting very defensive on this thread and I'd suggest it might be wise to take a step backwards and take a rest.
I'm not trying to be critical by saying I have an opinion but won't give it [you seem to be assuming my opinion would be negative? why?], I am merely following up on what I wrote about philosophy. My opinion on art doesn't really matter, and I'm not totally sure why people give such strong opinions on this forum because art is so subjective. I prefer to deal with positives, not negatives.

Maybe later..., by kunstrasen on Jul 5, 2012 0:11:07 GMT 1, I assume it is a language problem...not seriously thinking that anyone could get in trouble with German police over this...bit confused how anyone could think this. About the respect...another joke since my forum respect went down when you posted and I assumed it was you. Guess that explains why I thought your opinion would not be positive... Guess a German is not made to be funny...apologies for that.
