It was really nice to meet the forum members who came down for the show.
Penny's work was just mind boggling. He had a 20 layer stencil for a piece only 4cms wide!!! All hand scalpel cut...no laser cutting here...just crazy skills - respect.
The fairground penny slot machine was just genius. You had respectable clients completely hooked...but just like I remember...it was almost impossible to win anything.
The open edition pick'n'mix penny store was another great idea.
Thanks to the dude who gave me the heads up on the secret sale on the website...but unfortunately I was too late. Well done to those that clocked that beautiful bargain.
The gallery director (looked like fyfe dangerfield!) said that 95% of the show was sold...and that was at 7:30pm.

This was the piece - unfortunately reception in R&R was a nightmare and it took me ages to download a bloody scanner. Then I couldn't get a proper reading, don't know if it was the lighting or the background. Fortunately another guy had a little more success, txt me the page address and bingo. Thank you to the big guy with the beard, whoever you are ;D
