Martin Whatson "In a hurry" Stencil Edition, by confused2 on Jul 11, 2012 8:55:35 GMT 1, One of Martin's weaker works, and I can't understand why he's releasing it. He has much better images in his portfolio so this seems to be a step in the wrong direction.
There is no doubting his skills with a craft knife and spray can, but I wish he'd release more of his colourful works or some new images instead of dredging up old ones, albeit for low numbered runs.

Not home wall material, but there are places this would go up. A sports club maybe. The Olympics are coming up. As a long-distance runner, there has been times i wish i has a place to hide and some toilet paper 
I run with a bloke who can't get past the 10 mile mark without needing a shit. I showed him this and he said "that's me"
You never see runners needing the loo caught on camera, the first 3 miles of the London Marathon is a wash of piss, very off puting but true.

I think the background to the Fairfight and this release spoil the image a bit 
I just feel that when your dealing with stencils they look best just the simple colours, rather than trying to do fancy backgrounds.

There are many artists that are potential strong growing artists, but its hard to get that unique style that make people recognize your work without seeing the name or signature.
If martin hits that spot, i think he has the potential to be a instant sellout and long lasting artist.
I cheer for him and hope for a bright future. But hoping to see that uniqueness in the future

Would have been funnier if it was Rooney with his new (transplanted) hair style/comb over.. This image does remind me of my nightmare trip on a train to paris (I took the ex on a romantic weekend) thing is we went to a few pubs in Chelsea night before and got hamemred. At Waterloo my face was green/ had the sweats.. stomach was really bad. We boarded the train, she was all excited, we started moving, so did my bowels.. "Get out of the phukin way, MOOOVE" I shouted at her.. I ran to the toilet, some one was in there, I was smashing the door down. Some guy came out moaning in French.. I barged passed him and locked the door.. Then had the squirts for 10 mins  after 20 mins I got back to the seat. My ex said "where have you been/you okay? WHERE ARE YOUR SOCKS?... Yes no f**king toilet roll... I didn't have my mobile with me to call her to get her to go to other cubicle in seacrch of a roll. I laugh at it now but at the time it was hell....
Funny - although I've just had this terrible thought. If I'm not in work, I rarely wear socks. Does that mean that all these years people have been thinking - there he goes the bloke who wipes his a*** with his socks!
