It's not in the congestion charge zone, so that's a good start. It is very close though, so just be careful what roads you take to get there. The congestion zone boundary is Commercial Street. Just stay to the east of that road, which is where the Old Truman brewery is anyway.
Some on street parking around the area has to be paid for until late at night, but some doesn't. Have a drive around and I bet you'll be able to find some that you'll only have to pay for until 6pm, or go a bit more east and you can even get it for free.

It's not close to Stolen Space but if you are coming from the north (M1) I recommend parking at Stanmore and catching the tube, it's certainly the cheapest option.

I do really like the CRUNCHY statues by Ronzo... but little else is tempting me.
