pretty accurate with regards it being, or at least turning in to, quite a cliché now. 'those evil corporations! exploiting us with adverts'

i'd love to see street artists take on serious political issues for once; state murder, theft, the initiation of force etc rather than churn out this stuff.

not a dig at mobstr though, his name wasn't mentioned in the article nor were his pieces pictured, i just remembered he had a subvertisement piece on a billboard and other pieces in a similar vein and put 2 and 2 together. in fact i rather admire how mobstr has done his best to shy away from that stuff whilst still producing thought provoking and humourous works of art.

perhaps this deserved its own thread but don't want to be clogging up the board.
