I agree. Had a very civilised look around the site and reading about the print before purchasing. Was nice not to have to rush like a lunatic.

Extremely impressed by the scale and the fact that it's being painted with unnatural light. His technique keeps improving and he continues to be a modern master IMO. Apologies for not imputing an IG link and just uploading a photo...a bit technologically deficient (tutorials via PM for linking would be appreciated).

It seems the associations we make with "super creepy" are quite different. I consider it just a modified Scary Monsters / Bowie reference.
As for what makes me wince, off the top of my head:
(i) expressions like "art police", "wall-friendly", "Rest in peace" / "RIP";
(ii) adults engaging in textspeak;
(iii) self-pitying posts;
(iv) any forum member who uses someone's death to make clumsily grandiose, self-serving statements, while also attempting to speak for other members they don't represent, e.g. "On behalf of the UAA Community - I would like to send our condolences to his friends, family and fans all over the world.";
(v) witnessing new collectors spending more than ยฃ100 on work by imposter-artists like Martin Whatson;
(vi) approximately 90% of the posts I've read by jimbofatz โ who is arguably to Banksy what Carl McCoid is to Miley Cyrus; and
(vii) people who spend precious time they have left on earth writing lists of things that make them wince.

I have quite a few of his works and they are nothing short of amazing. They are all short runs and released very infrequently. I am surprised they donโt appreciate more than they do, but I definitely appreciate them on my wall. His murals, especially some that he did with retna are jaw dropping.
