They are quite open about the Easton Cowboys book that the photos are taken from, and have included a photo of the book cover. It may not be 'investigative journalism' but at least the Mail can claim credit for the only pieces of investigative journalism that have shed light on the identity of Banksy. I notice that the comments beneath the Mail article are pointing to a website called talentscout that has published some new pics, which are claimed to be of Banksy. There is also someone on Twitter called banksyhunter, who is tweeting his steps in trying to track the great man down.

THAT is some messed up logic !
If the police want to track down Banksy, fair enough (although I'm sure they know who he is by now), but it is no way in the public interest to stalk him or his friends or his family. Not by a newspaper, and certainly not by random strangers !
