solidARTy.org - art fundraiser project, by sal on Jun 30, 2016 11:06:53 GMT 1, SAL, I see four only on ebay, does it mean more will be added soon ? I really like the one above and can't find it
No, they are all online and ending in few hrs. They had some problems with listing them on .com instead of .be. You can see them all @ www.benl.ebay.be/sch/thcrstlshp/m.html, just the website is in Dutch. Good luck!

solidARTy.org - art fundraiser project, by sal on Jun 27, 2016 12:26:23 GMT 1, Wow! Im humbled by dismalandbland's offer as well. Thank you so much!
Though, I hope something like that wont be needed. The only thing needed here is a bit of sympathy and understanding from the bidder.
None of this was done intentionally. Trying to get things organized as soon as possible, or to be more precise, to get the money raised as soon as possible, the item was put on auction without ANYONE having a proper look at it. The artist agreed on it while away and couldn't pick/pack/send it out until months after when he was back at the studio. Since they are multiple similar panels, he was choosing between better image not focusing on "damage" they all have cause of their history. That is all that's too it. If money was still on our or any other account, I wouldn't be happier but to refund right away cause I have no interest making anyone unhappy or feeling ripped off.
Thank you again for the support everyone and really hope this will be behind us soon as nobody gets anything out of it.

solidARTy.org - art fundraiser project, by sal on Jun 27, 2016 10:11:17 GMT 1, I just wanted to publicly tell my part of the story that is inevitably gonna go public. Unfortunately, one of the solidARTy.org supporters isn't happy with his item and he is now planning on going public with the whole story in order to "warn everyone about the way solidarty.org works". So, without mentioning any names (it's easy to find who the bidder or artist is, but it really isn't relevant), here is my side of the story:
After paying for the work that he was only bidder for back in Jan, it took the artist and his team 5 months to finally get the items together and send them (the artist is rarely @ his studio, and I mentioned on solidarty page that we can not guarantee shipping time). Once the items arrived, he was very unhappy with the condition of the piece on aluminum, stating it was badly damaged:
For some reason artist's assistant said that the item was in perfect condition when it left the studio even the bidder said there was no damage on the package. After mailing back and forth about it, it became obvious that these panels all look like that as they were used for printing and hanging as a part of installation.
I personally spoke to the artist one week ago and he confirmed this, saying that none of those panels are in perfect condition as their state was part of the install. Also, they were used for printing and were never intended to be for sale. So perfect condition example just doesn't exist, and its also artist's aesthetic to make his work look rough, aged, etc.
Initially the bidder asked for another small piece on top of everything, which the artist didn't accept. Than he asked for a replacement or refund. The money was already forwarded to Are You Syrious? and spent for tents, food, and other things, so any refund/replacement would have to be paid out of my pocket.
I agreed to replace the work, but once I heard from the artist that they are all more/less in same condition, I realized that would be unreasonable waste of money (one way shipping was โฌ80, so swapping it would be double that at least). So, I offered a โฌ50-70 reimbursement as a sorry gesture, but the bidder wanted โฌ100. After speaking with bunch of friends (most of them members of this forum), I was told that I shouldn't go spending any of my money as this is a charity project that Im running here.
Im sorry we're about to get this drama out publicly, but it was bidder's choice to do that as he feels it's the right way to go. Im not scared of it cause solidARTy.org has an army of satisfied buyers and much more than that, Im only sorry to see the artist name getting involved cause he has done absolutely NO wrong - he only donated a piece from his studio, hoping to raise some money for the cause.
Thanks for reading and sorry again for putting this out like this!
