My buy of the year has to be my Herakut canvas, which was one of my plans for 2012. The other plan was to get a Fridriks canvas but since her prices jumped it is probably out of reach forever so no plans at the moment for 2013. Anyhow, happy enough with my moody Herakut...

He was so great to work with and meeting him and Faith in July when he hand delivered it was something we'll never forget. The piece will hang at our wedding next year, with the story behind it included as well.
For 2013 I'd like to secure a Parla 'World Touring Letter'. Jose is her favorite artist and it would be a proper wedding present to her.
That Herakut is lovely BTW.

Lovely Daleast, one of my fav artists around at the moment.

Just beating my Jacob Gagnon canvas, which I can't wait to see in the flesh.
And my ABC canvas, which I got home yesterday but am yet to get on the wall, finishes my top 3, i'll add a pic when its up.
Plans for 2013: More work from Liqen, more from Daleast, more from Phlegm, would love another Kevin Peterson original. Perhaps a banksy original. Way too much for just one year, so lets chat again next Nov/Dec and see how we're doing....

Oh just remembered I bought 'love is a drug' RYCA early this year for the babies room not framed yet but great print..

2013 will be tough for me. Company I work for was sold and new employer does not believe in paying bonuses so effectively 25% pay cut. hopefully I can pick up a few bargains here and there.

For 2013 I'm looking for OGs by Herakut, Neate, Choe, Faile, Ian Francis, Kazuki Takamatsu, Ethos, BOXI, etc.. Fingers are crossed that the Mayans were wrong about the end of the world.
