It's All A Bit Dull....., by Chrisp on Dec 2, 2012 20:16:53 GMT 1, Problem with FB its puts you head on into the public domain, which i am not very keen on. Twitter i prefer as it is easier to watch from afar and just read what i want and follow who i want. FB seems to link you from every angle possible and you have to read so much bs from people you dont even like.

It's All A Bit Dull....., by freakinstyle on Dec 3, 2012 9:49:38 GMT 1, I haven't experienced the 'good years' as referred to, but one of the things that surprised me from the beginning was a lack of visibility of moderators. All other forums I am on, different subject, have a lot more 'on top of it' moderators. I have seen a couple of posts, and now even a thread, that is asking for them to take action and do something. Well, not that experienced on this forum, but one thing I do know: nothing will happen.
I try to stick to what I would call accepted behaviour like I would do in normal life, but have the feeling I can spam whatever I want....and then suddenly you see a thread where people talk about deleted posts. Deleted without any comment. I just don't get it!
I am on FB, but prefer a forum over FB. I am on this forum to follow new stuff and comments of people that aren't the so called experts. FB isn't a medium that works well with longer bits of texts.... like this one. Also easier to find topics, also through the search tool.
If someone would set up a new forum I would support that. Like I said, I feel that this is the only way for change, because I haven't seen any reaction of any moderator on any post that asks for an explanation from them since I joined.

It's All A Bit Dull....., by Harveyn on Dec 3, 2012 10:12:08 GMT 1, This just about sums it up for me.
So while it's very slow here it does give genuine quality a chance to really shine, and not so quality art to appear as just that(least to my eye) It's still the people that make the forum and still some cracking members here.

Indeed. Any forum is only as good as its posters.
