I would just like to say thanks......., by longshanks on Jan 30, 2013 11:47:29 GMT 1, ok, firstly a little background....
having recently sold my Invasion Kit 14 to fund the purchase of a IK 6 'Runner' (a favourite) I got in touch with someone off the forum. we arranged a price, a meet, and i drove to london to do 'the deal'.
having got it home again i took it out the unopened packet to sadly notice a few imperfections, and broken tiles.
im a forum newbie, this was my first transaction of this nature, and as far as i thought i had just laid out a fair chunk of cash for something i couldnt use.
in a blur of panic, upset, and then followed by rage i contacted the user..... expecting to have issues.
the user fully understood the state i was in (himself being an massive invader fan) and before he had even got home offered to fully refund the ยฃยฃยฃ (electronically to save the drive again) which he did, on the promise i would get the runner back to him asap.
the runner is now en route back to its original owner.
i would just like to say what a breath of fresh air this was! its really nice to meet people that, unlike a lot of others, arnt complete c*unts. he turned a very traumatic experience into one not-so-bad.
the way he dealt with it was honourable, honest, quick, and friendly. there was no way of him knowing about the broken tiles as the smoked bag looked fine.
he could have easily taken the approach of 'your problem now', and walked with the cash.
so - - -i would like to send a massive THANKS to fellow forum user KIMPSONSa true gent, and street art guru! now, on to my next subject.... anyone got a runner they wanna sell?

I would just like to say thanks......., by Dr Plip on Jan 30, 2013 13:28:40 GMT 1, It's nice to see that there are some decent people out there still. Gotta feel bad for Kimpsons and his broken kit though. I wonder how many other unopened kits have broken parts, damage, etc?

I would just like to say thanks......., by Rsyok on Feb 28, 2013 12:06:20 GMT 1, Nothing really wrong with it, it's as the artist sold it. The tiles are as the tiles are manufactured. Bit of a bargain as you say.
