Mexican Aritsts, by trevordc on May 13, 2013 18:17:04 GMT 1, Hi,
Does anyone know of any young Mexican artists at the moment?
Seems like an exciting place and there must be a bit of stuff coming out of there.

Mexican Aritsts, by Trismanco on May 14, 2013 6:22:53 GMT 1, Nice to see Mexican artists getting a mention here - it's definitely an exciting place worth visiting for street art in particular Monterrey, Mexico City & Oaxaca - but other places too. I travelled there for my Street Sketchbook Journeys book which has almost a third of the artists coming from Mexico in it including...
Saner Neuezz News & Dhear Rene Almanza Smithe Blast, Dose, Sanez and Fer
Links here... www.streetsketchbook.com/Street%20Sketchbook%20Journeys%20links.html
Not for forgetting Sego - see images below
Also check out Mexican Street art festival - All City Canvas

Mexican Aritsts, by Feral Things on Jun 28, 2016 21:43:21 GMT 1, Tristan Manco has launched a website showcasing the work of Mexican artists. I wasn't familiar with any of the names previously but I like the fact that they've got their own distinct flavour. The website is mexicanart.co.uk and there's also an IG account at instagram.com/mexicanartuk/

One thing I don't like is when you see artists copying styles like Shepard Faireys or even Banksy, I prefer so see a style that you can feel is based on that countries culture and has a bit of history behind it. Like some of these South American Artists you can feel a bit of Spanish history mixed in there great stuff!

Some interesting North American artists. And the work is quite different to that of other North American artists I've seen.
The styles way out there across the ocean are impressively diverse. In fact, I now realise how silly it is for me to forcibly group all those artists together and describe them in large-scale geographical terms, like "North American artists" — as if to suggest an entire continent were homogenous and could be simply generalised.
