Street Art Photography Workshop, by shaunq on May 30, 2013 22:31:29 GMT 1, Indeed. Thoroughly enjoyable & educational! Cheers Shaun. By the way y'all, though it is forecast to be dry if it looks like rain we intrepid photographers have another trick up our sleves to ensure photography still takes place. Bring an umberella! I'm sure many of you will have noticed that rain does lead to great street art photography opportunities, so not to be missed even if it does rain. Dammit...pray for rain!
If it rains then it's a bonus!
When it rains most of the street dawdlers that usually get in the way of you when you're taking pics suddenly cluster under each others umbrellas or cram into shop doorways instead of standing right in front of your shoot subject matter leaving you with a great chance to takes fotos. Yay
Definitely pray for rain!!

Street Art Photography Workshop, by james on May 30, 2013 23:28:50 GMT 1, The passion NoLions has for photography really rubs off and his enthusiasm is inspiring. Armed with confidence to try out new things I instantly adopted an experimental take when out on the tour and I was pleasantly surprised with what i came back with, it was reassuring for me to see how my own work had evolved within the space of a couple of hours, I found this improvement in my creativity really refreshing. The classroom part of the workshop is well thought out, something that NoLions has undoubtedly put in a lot of effort into preparing, the slides contained interesting comparisons of images with different types of camera set ups and compositions, covering a range of subjects including night photography, Photoshop techniques and accessories like tripods etc. SLR camera functions are explained really well and easy to understand language. NoLions helped me with adjusting some of my camera setting during the walk and explained what they did. I really cant find anything negative to say. Maybe more experienced PRO photographers may not come back with as much as I did but certainly worth attending by all who enjoy photography and street art.
