edit: Just a thought here Jlady, why not just say the asking price?, its no big secret is it really because as soon as you tell someone they will tell others etc., 50k / 100k / more?, just say, just a thought.

Is it possible to get a COA for an item like this?
I paid a high price - I actually have a photo from the first exhibition where the price tag in 2007 was 30k - the piece sold at that. So I am not selling for swift sale the price is low ,my profit is slim. This piece was for sale at Still Kicking Gallery in Malmö last year for 200.000 SEK (approximately 19.300 GBP). Among other tat, the gallery was also selling a framed Kate postcard for 4.800 SEK (approximately 460 GBP) and individual framed stickers for 3.300 SEK (approximately 320 GBP).
The following (alleged) e-mail from Pest Control was displayed next to the piece.
The people at Still Kicking Gallery didn't really seem to know their ass from their elbow. They were selling brown paper bags adorned with a Banksy sticker and two rubber stamps as a strictly limited edition of 10 (and in their description alluded to it being a Banksy edition). They were also selling a Nick Walker postcard as a Banksy.
You can read more about the exhibition here (use Google translate to get the gist of it, if you don't understand Swedish): www.sydsvenskan.se/kultur--nojen/den-forlorade-etiken/
This just to say that Still Kicking Gallery are not the most knowledgeable or trustworthy people around, so I am not sure if this e-mail really came from Pest Control.
Also, considering that jlady is associated with Black Pop Contemporary, which has previously been called out on this forum, I would advice anyone who might consider buying this to first get in touch with Pest Control.

The problems with these "SO CALLED experts" is that they do not say sorry after they have attacked and proven wrong.

FS: Rare Banksy artificial wall piece , by pelle on Sept 20, 2013 14:05:01 GMT 1, So much for blurry provenance and all those experts like PELLE : www.liveleak.com/view?i=fec_1197648954The problems with these "SO CALLED experts" is that they do not say sorry after they have attacked and proven wrong.
As previously stated in the thread about the "SPIKE" rock, all three of the "artworks" that you are trying to sell have sketchy provenance at best.
1) The "You Lie" rat has been demonstrated to have been sold for £300 on eBay in June 2013 (www.ebay.com/itm/151072577430). It came with no COA or proven provenance then, and from what you have presented, this has not changed.
2) The "Lying to the police is never wrong" faux wall piece comes with no proven provenance. At Still Kicking Gallery an e-mail which allegedly came from Pest Control was displayed along with it. There is no proof that this e-mail is not a fabrication, but even if it is real, it clearly confirms that the piece is NOT eligible for authentication. Also note that the e-mail is worded very carefully, so that it in no way confirms that this piece of decoration was actually made by Banksy.
3) The "SPIKE" rock also comes with very sketchy provenance. Again, the e-mails (which you seem to believe constitute "checked documents". Who were they checked by?) could easily be faked, and should therefore be disregarded as far as provenance goes, unless you have some way for the prospective buyer to confirm their authenticity (perhaps your good friend Ralph Lazarides can help you with this).
As an aside, regardless of the authenticity of the e-mails and the rock itself, if the piece was really sold for 30-35K USD in 2007 (as you claim), it seems strange that it would be for sale at Still Kicking Gallery in 2012 for roughly 7,700 USD. And even stranger that your current price tag of 17K USD should be considered "very reasonable".
To sum up: As already mentioned above, all of these "artworks" come with very doubtful provenance. The fact that the rock and the faux wall piece come with e-mails which are easy to fabricate and that they have been displayed at various dubious second-hand galleries does not make them the real deal. The fact that the rat stencil painting was sold on e-Bay a few months ago with no provenance and an unlikely "my-mate-found-this" story... well, I think that speaks for itself.
