Bristol Shows, by Feral Things on Nov 26, 2014 16:47:48 GMT 1, There's a couple of really good exhibitions at the Arnolfini at the moment.
Josephine Pryde's exhibition is entitled 'These Are Just Things I Say, They Are Not My Opinion'. It's hard to beat an exhibition where you get to have a ride on a graffed up miniature train through three rooms of a gallery:
Willem de Rooij's exhibition features hundreds of photographs of protests from around the world over the last few decades:

Bristol Shows, by Coach on Jan 21, 2016 22:33:54 GMT 1, Fluorescent Smogg have put on a one-night-only pop-up exhibition of the artwork which Sickboy, Lucas Price, Petro, Goodhood, Eric Haacht and Savill & Sanders has created for White Bully's debut single called ' O God'.ย Sickboy has done the cover artwork (which you can see in the top photo) and signed & numbered copied of the screenprinted 7" are available in person for ยฃ40.ย Apologies for the reflection but here's a few photos: And a couple of nocturnal shots on my way home; a nice temple from the man himself and a tribute to Buzz CNTS.ย RIP.
Looks like a very cool little show. Do you have any more pics?

Bristol Shows, by Feral Things on Jan 22, 2016 12:08:40 GMT 1, Do you have any more pics? Sorry, mate. Having said I didn't have any more photos, I just came across another photo of Eric Haacht's piece on my phone:

Bristol Shows, by Coach on Jan 22, 2016 12:15:45 GMT 1, Thanks Feral Things. I was hoping you would have a picture of his piece. Having recently added a painting by Eric to my collection, I was interested to see his piece. I like it.

Bristol Shows, by Feral Things on Feb 11, 2016 23:37:53 GMT 1, Jono Boyle (who many people will know as Motorboy) has a new show which opened tonight at Spike Island entitled 'Too Much Too Young (The Vanity of Hope)'. The show runs though until 25 February and I guess everyone probably takes something different away from this sort of work but, for me at least, it felt like looking at the cracks in the social contract and the facade of our dysfunctional society.

Bristol Shows, by Feral Things on Jun 23, 2016 15:02:05 GMT 1, F(L)IGHT is an exhibition promoting peace through the work of over 140 artists that have incorporated a white dove into their contributions to the show and 50% of profits are going to War Child. There's too many artists to name here and to label each photo but they include Otto Schade (76), Shab (93), Silent Hobo (36), Voyder (2), Jody (5), Rob 'Data' Wass (50) and David Shillinglaw (96). All works are ยฃ50 each and the show will be on at Hamilton House in Bristol until 27 June.

Bristol Shows, by Zippy on Jul 6, 2016 14:45:29 GMT 1, thanks Feral Things for always being our 'roving reporter' on the ground in Bristol. I like the Mr Graf piece. Some of the others are hard to see on my laptop.

Bristol Shows, by Feral Things on Sept 15, 2016 18:16:28 GMT 1, These aren't from a specific show but instead from a recent visit to The Island, which used to be the central police station in Bristol and is now artists' and performers' studios.
Mark Michaelson aka Least Wanted - this is from a show called 'Justice' with C215, Dan23, Bruno Leyval and MC1984 back in 2009
Here's a couple of my shots of C215's pieces in the cells back in 2009:
Snik from 2009
Motorboy/Jono Boyle - the piece on the left is from the time of 'See No Evil' in Nelson Street and some new work on the right
Stik - this is outside the circus training room; hence, the trapeze reference
WHAT Collective (45RPM and Sums) in the cells from '12 Days of Xmas' group show in 2007
Deams and Hemper out back
