That sculpture is huge and stunning, I wonder if 6 will ever be made?
Ludo is a great artist, this though is pumping up his market artificially, I wonder if there'll be an auction result to legitimise this? *cough*

Don't dismiss this by saying 'art is purely subjective'. This is more than that. We all know when a record is badly produced, or writing not been edited; but I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks this body of work is poor. I'm not sure how much more can have been done to improve it, but that's where someone more qualified could assist.
As far as art goes I'm not aware of the equivalent of a record producer

maybe it is stuff you have to see in person. ill swing buy to check it out in person, but agree with most of the above. not all that inspired.

Regarding pushing up the prices, I'm pretty confident the Paris Artcurial auction on Feb 5 will help a little to "legitimize" prices (there are pieces).

Been after something by Ludo for a long time, but it's really hard to find something good from him. I was on vacation in Rome a couple of years ago and stumbled upon a small gallery that had a show with him. It was big light boxes and it looked spectacular! Anyone have a link to the show I'm talking about? |
