Caught nicking the Nola street piece, by sixstringer on Feb 26, 2014 20:22:27 GMT 1, Because of my job I have access to a pretty hardcore chem lab. I have almost perfected a "paint lifting gel" that can be applied to directly on top of street art. Within 15min or so the gel solidifies into a soft slab and when you peel it back it literally pulls the paint of with it. After the artwork is removed you can then spray the gel slab with a secret release agent and place the slab on top if a sheet of paper, canvas or any flat surface. Let it sit for 10 min or so and when you remove the gel slab the paint will be adhered to the new surface. It works a lot like silly putty.

I have all this shitty wooden panelling in the hallway that has at least 50 layers of paint on it, basically layers added from 1820 or sometime like that.
The wife has said she would like it stripped off, and then painted afresh, and that to wouldn't take long for me to do. Fuck right off thought I (not brave enough to say it)
swap your magical stuff for a wicked print

They are satisfied it is 100 per cent original and they do not want to comment any further.โ " Tossers. Fine art auction houses make a fortune from sellers and buyers.
They always have a get out clause in their catalogues like they cannot be held legally responsible for the descriptions etc.
They make the rules up as they go along and one buyer of a very expensive painting couldn't get a refund when they found out that 90% of it was restored because the signiature was still original.
The quote from the Daily Mail article sums it up.
"'It seems incredible that it could be considered to be a genuine Banksy.
โBut I guess if youโve got that much money to buy an airbrushed piece of graffiti youโve probably got more money than sense.โ "
