The following has been work in progress...................
I have started a new site for private art collectors to sell and trade their work.

I am tired of seeing all the postings without pictures etc and thought this would be a great way for people to easily sell and trade their unwanted art in one place.
I and another couple of friends have added a few things over the weekend. Have a look and let me know if you would like to join and I will add your username. If you would prefer a new username just let me know VIA PM.
There is currently no costs involved to list work and you can list as many items as you like. All communication is done with you direct through the enquiry links on each product page.
You will have your own profile page and you can put as much information on it as you like, however location and email is a minimum requirement.
It is simple and easy to add artwork after you sign in. This will be a window to many art collectors around the world and not just the Banksy forum.
Please note this is a site for selling and trading your artwork, not for logging your collections. We would prefer it if you would also state a price for your artwork.
Just to confirm...........
This is a free service, there is no commission, no listing fees, no join up fees, nothing.
Simply PM your request to join and your preferred username. We will then send you your login link and password, its that simple.
I hope you like the site and lets hope we can have a site which will make private art sales and swaps a little bit easier and clearer in the future!

May I ask what kind of protection you will provide users from fakes, scams like those recently seen with a similar website Auction Saboteur?
Will you have some kind of feedback/points system so that trusted sellers/buyers can be easily recognised?
Will you be the point of redress if something goes wrong on your site?

We have had a LOT of people wishing to sign up and I am ploughing through them. I am currently working alone so please be a little patient. I will get you set up as soon as I can.
I have discovered it is a lot easier if you guys sign up direct at the site on the sign up page. That way I have all the information i need to set your profile up.

Once registered I will get you set up as soon as I can. Please remember to complete your profiles once logged in. This means as much information as possible, a picture and a small Bio - what do you like to collect, what you may be interested in.
To answer a question - All communication is sent to you direct through the items you list on your profile. You wil receive a detailed email asking about each specific piece of artwork. It id YOUR responsibility to deal with the enquirer direct. I am simply providing you with a great and easy to use platform. The user does the registration and then they'll have to wait for a admin to review and accept the registration. That way you don't have to do all the tedious work of reviewing AND registering new users and it will be quicker aswell. Just my 2 cent.

You are the person actually making the profile. You should let the user make the profile, choosing his own username and password and fill in all the fields. Then you should just press a button to accept or refuse |
