Graffiti Prints Different Strokes NYC Group Show, by Deleted on Jul 19, 2014 1:52:31 GMT 1, can I buy something if i am abroad email info@graffitiprints.com; they may have the canvas on the new PDF - i don't know if anyone on line was trying to spend thousands upon thousands of pounds, so it could still be available by tomorrow.
EDIT: if you ask for the specific piece and include the picture in this thread, will probably get a quicker response.

Yes, one would think that if GP could get what this costs they'd take it in a heartbeat. You accommodate those types of sales.

Those DDD Handguns actually sold at 550GBP, crazy.
One thing I was talking about w/ some forum members at the show that I thought was funny - why is something 1,000GBP more expensive because it was done on a found object or street sign instead of paper/canvas? If anything, shouldn't it be cheaper? You didn't even pay for the materials

Graffiti Prints Different Strokes NYC Group Show, by tas on Jul 19, 2014 2:34:38 GMT 1, Had a really great time at the show tonight, some amazing pieces. Sadly way out of my price range. Was cool meeting some forum folks. Really great to meet Zach, Martin and Sandra (who is absolutely gorgeous I may add)
Print racks were neat but again very expensive. Had some Dolk, Mau Mau, Cept, lots of Pure Evil and one style wars.
All prices quotes were in pounds, not USD.

Was talking her up a little and then turned around and her 6'7" french model husband was standing behind me. Saying she's 'taken' is an understatement.
That said, I think Martin and Sandra should procreate and create some beautiful artist babies - Martin looks like a pro surfer.
All three (Zach, Martin, Sandra) were extremely nice and open to talk to; was really fun.

I'm sorry, but that is absurd.

Graffiti Prints Different Strokes NYC Group Show, by BKBOI on Jul 19, 2014 3:15:30 GMT 1, almost pulled the trigger on the zach canvas. Can't believe none of his originals have sold yet. If only I did not commit to another original earlier this week. Congrats to whoever will be buying it. Definitely is a stunning piece.
Add edit: Giancarlo is a gentleman and he was super cool to entertain each one of us despite how crazy the buy line got. Zach is a super nice artist and I expect more awesome street pieces from him.

I think I did Coca-Cola logo games in my college art classes years ago.

I think it's just that it's mostly a print-buying crowd - especially opening night; that crowd (which i consider myself a part of) can justify maybe doing a Whatson canvas since they're under 1,000 GBP but some big money hustlers are gonna be the ones to get the Zachs since we just can't do that given how much we intended to spend going into the show.
Would probably help if they put them in the PDF haha

In casual conversation with some on line there seemed to be some agreement. I think I did Coca-Cola logo games in my college art classes years ago. Yeah, this one is splitting people. I'm glad the print was only 150GBP; I thought that was a good deal. I went in saying I was trying for a stencil but couldn't justify spending over 300GBP on one based on what it was, and then the cheapest was 700GBP so yeah, nah. Lovely guy though, and great talent; you can tell from his other work (esp the canvas and girl w/ grenade on sign)
I mostly love it because I literally drink 3-4 cokes a day (I talked about this w/ some forumers)

And I didn't know DotDotDot was there! I was expressing my opinions about his work outside and they weren't exactly flattering. Oops.

Graffiti Prints Different Strokes NYC Group Show, by joker3000 on Jul 19, 2014 4:06:28 GMT 1, Great great show. Wall to wall good art and good peeps to chat in line with. Thought there were more of the collab pieces available (not much more but at least 5) since they laid them out on the floor for somebody to pick, but between all the art and figuring out pricing/availability it was a bit hectic. Anybody in NYC should definitely stop by, the sight of the walls alone is worth the (free) price of admission.

Think they had the entire edition there, and were trying to figure out how many to sell today. The guys at the show said they're only selling four, but they may have sold 1 or 2 more (I know they were ready to sort out tas and dreamers if for some reason fed bought the collab and they got nixed b/c of that, so there was flexibility, but they wanted to keep a good deal for the online release).

Graffiti Prints Different Strokes NYC Group Show, by bullysonzx10r on Jul 19, 2014 4:22:58 GMT 1, I was there as well, almost accidentally cut the line with about 10 minutes till open... haha
I was lucky enough to pick up One Small Step (For an incredible price btw) En Pointe, and Beejoir 20 Dots.
I was ready to drop some bigger cash on an original, but honestly after waiting in line for over an hour, and not having a price list, I asked about two, they were sold, and I just decided to pass since I didn't want to be "That Guy" holding up the rest of the people.
All in all, I'm really happy. I've been shopping for a One Small Step for the past month or two and got it for over 100GBP less than anything I've seen.
Also -- got to see Fed, who is a good dude, so that was good too!
