Anyone else getting "stop lurking" notice?, by pcant on Jun 9, 2014 18:16:57 GMT 1, I see a new feature of the forum is that if I don't post enough I get a message from Silky noting how long I've been a member, when I last posted something and asking me to post more opinions. Telling the people on your forum that you're watching over their shoulders is like encouraging them not to visit. But hey, now I've posted something.

Haven't seen anything when I'm logged in tho.
Wonder if all this new code on the forum is what's making it slow and clunky atm? Boards and threads I click on 50% of the time don't load and I have to refresh the screen to get them to load, even getting 'Script not working' warnings now.
But to be perfectly honest it can all be summed up by the word 'control', in the digital world companies and developers want to control as much of the experience users have so they can get their desired results...

When did a 'free art forum, where anyone can look at, chat about and agree/disagree about art without any control' turn into an advertising led website that tries to control what people do by telling them to post more and not to look at the website if they haven't joined!
