The piece you regret not buying is.........................., by Deleted on Sept 17, 2014 1:42:21 GMT 1, I regret not buying my wifes grail. Kozyndan - A Very Fancy Hat. We stood in front of it, but at the time, $200 was far too much. Now id pay $1000 for it to see the look on her face. If you have it, get at me.

Email Mecka Gallery re. the Supine you never know they may have one left :-)
edit. Just checked and it now says sold out. May still be worth a try though.

The piece you regret not buying is.........................., by Aza on Sept 18, 2014 14:28:14 GMT 1, Those old Banksy prices are funny to see. I used to spend ages looking at all those which were for sale. However I did finally bite the bullet and buy Christ with Shopping Bags. My Mum thought I was crazy to spend ยฃ500 on a 'poster'. I thought the price was through the roof too, however I loved the image so much, I couldn't resist.
Of course I feel sick about not buying a load of canvases, but it seemed so much money to me at the time

The piece you regret not buying is.........................., by Deleted on Oct 10, 2014 20:09:26 GMT 1, I regret not buying Parla's WTL at Elms, I also regret not buying Sam3 Sisifo from Papermonster.
I don't regret not buying anything by Banksy because at the time, I didn't think they were worth the money but with the other two, I did think that they were worth the money but didn't buy them - I regret that.

Anyone who convinces themselves that a shit picture done by a shit artist is great and has meaning becaause the same shit art is sold for a high price through an auction house to some coked out hedge fund manager or other ilk hyping up prices is thick.

The piece you regret not buying is.........................., by Someones Brain on Oct 16, 2014 7:44:10 GMT 1, I try to avoid regrets, in particular with regard to material things. There's always a next/new piece of art. Makes no sense to think it over and over again (like ... if had known then, what I know now ...).
Also, do you folks have regrets because you learned/realized too late that you really like a piece of art (that you didn't like when it was released first) or just because some pieces you'd have been able to buy cheap went up in price and are now out of reach (or could be sold with a profit)? There are a lot of price tags named in this thread.
Again, makes no sense to spoil your day with thoughts like that. So, disappointment at the very moment I miss out on something I want - yes - , but no regrets. I try to live more like this:
"you can spend your time alone, redigesting past regrets, or you can come to terms and realize you're the only one who can't forgive yourself, makes much more sense to live in the present tense"
