To the OP, if you are gonna invest just make sure you can live with it for a very long time.

original investment, by johnnyh on Sept 18, 2014 1:13:57 GMT 1, Best way to invest in art is get all your money together...
Take it to a casino...bet on red or Black on the roulette wheel or play Baccarat. 1 game only.
If you win buy the best piece you can by a financial growing artist..do not consider whether you like it or not that's for idiots!! Hold it for a short while then flog it at a profit. Take the profit to the casino and start again. Buy some more art with the stake prior to the profit.
If you lose start painting and try to sell them as you beg. When you have a few quid go back to the casino and start again.

original investment, by Deleted on Sept 18, 2014 1:19:35 GMT 1, I've seen lately in selling some original Dran. What do you think of investing in an original dran? Take all the money you would consider spending on an original dran and use it to buy museum memberships, take trips to other countries to visit galleries/museums, and buy more art books(used, more bang-for-the-buck) than you think you could ever possibly read.
If you want some reading suggestions, I would be more than happy to help.
Art collecting should be 99% research, 1% acquisition.

original investment, by il conte on Sept 18, 2014 6:02:32 GMT 1, thanks for the advice. what I wonder is if Dran purchased at an attractive price, it can still be considered a better deal or avoid betting on him.
