We've had Bambi, now Pegasus?, by t3c on Dec 8, 2014 14:00:32 GMT 1, I've never heard of Pegasus until today, he's apparently being touted as the USA's equivalent to Banksy & Johnny Depp bought a piece of his according to the Metro paper this morning.
Looks like he has a show in London but again i've seen & heard nothing on this guy until now
www.pegasusstreetart.com/show.html
Is he another gallery hype machine puppet?
Another one that i've noticed and i'm not comparing this guy to Bambi/Pegasus obviously is BumbleBeeLovesYou - again someone i've never seen mentioned here but who looks like having a big following across the pond and regularly sells his print runs out in minutes

We've had Bambi, now Pegasus?, by graffuturism on Dec 8, 2014 14:07:18 GMT 1, I am really getting annoyed by the migration of Celebrities into Art as pawns for Galleries or artists, or worse Celebrities thinking that they can curate or understand Art overnight. Art Basel this year was a sham because of this very fact.

We've had Bambi, now Pegasus?, by Lroy on Dec 8, 2014 14:23:35 GMT 1, Sorry but this pegasus has no wings and is an old nag ! I still don't understand why - actors are not hte universal intelligentsia I guess - if Brad ( sorry for Banksy, Banksy is a great artist ) , Johnny etc etc... buy artowrks or show their faces, it's mean that the artist they visit are great artists ?!
Here, it's worth than childish.

We've had Bambi, now Pegasus?, by Dr Plip on Dec 8, 2014 14:26:36 GMT 1, I am really getting annoyed by the migration of Celebrities into Art as pawns for Galleries or artists, or worse Celebrities thinking that they can curate or understand Art overnight. Art Basel this year was a sham because of this very fact. Celebrity endorsement is used to help sell a large variety of crap that we don't need. Celebrity name dropping in the world of art has been around for awhile. It's all a bit wanky these days though. Not getting at any artist, buy what you like. I just hate this "Singer X has bought one, blah, blah, blah".
While I'm here, anyone else getting pissed off that street art or graffiti is leaning more and towards just becoming another form of advertising? I have a career to launch, look at my work. I have stuff to sell, look at my work.
Where's the real expression gone? Where's the anger? Where are the messages from the disgruntled and the disenfranchised? Or is that left to the "f**k the tories" and the like, written on bog walls? No prints of that available anytime soon.
I think I'm in a bad mood. Help me

We've had Bambi, now Pegasus?, by Shoot Again on Dec 8, 2014 14:33:48 GMT 1, Not sure this is actually JD on those pictures... looks more like an impersonator to me ! That being said, considering how drunk JD sometimes is, they might have just pushed him into their gallery to take those ridiculous pictures ;-)

We've had Bambi, now Pegasus?, by Deleted on Dec 8, 2014 14:34:58 GMT 1, i hate to be the voice of misery here, but this kinda bandwagon jumping shite is more evidence to be used at the coroners inquest on the death of street art - Other key witnessses will inlcude mr brain drain, Bambi, martin facsmilie, and most of the under 30s population of Norway.Though dolk has been around for a while now, so he probably wont be required to attend

We've had Bambi, now Pegasus?, by Deleted on Dec 8, 2014 14:39:16 GMT 1, anyway it's more like folk art than street art.
Painting on walls legally with nice patterns and dรฉcorations is folk art.
Bambi and Pegasus stencils look identical to me so did one make them for the other one?
Cross a Bambi deer with a Pegasus horse and end up with an ass

We've had Bambi, now Pegasus?, by graffuturism on Dec 8, 2014 14:46:16 GMT 1, I guess he is managed by the same as Bambi Guy Lenny Villa a Framer from the UK. Makes sense I guess
Also it does look like a look alike of Johnny Depp, I remember a recent story about other celebrities being duped by the same look alike.

We've had Bambi, now Pegasus?, by Dr Plip on Dec 8, 2014 14:50:18 GMT 1, "Some of these pictures have been provided from different social media sites and may include people who attended the show. If you would like us to blur your face from a picture then email us and we would be happy to help."
Johnny Depp's frantically typing an email...
Edit: I'm kidding. I'm kidding. I love all artists and forms of artistic expression. Including art rugs and carpets.

We've had Bambi, now Pegasus?, by Deleted on Dec 8, 2014 15:16:00 GMT 1, That s**t with witch artist owns who's art is so passรฉ. The s**t is, witch other street artist runs into the opening and tags their s**t in front of everyone having a fiukking Chardonnay. If you see a two meter Nordic star kind of type in high heels and a balaclava. It wasn't me. Could not care less, here with two glamourous Transvestites but wrong lipstick, end of the fkin world apparently, nice heels though, not that I have noticed of course.

Jack Sparrow lookalike.
It's fashionable in Englandshire for 70's faded pop stars to re form their bands and do guest appearances for a small fee or food off a bird table in winter.
