Flashinvaders data, by Aza on Dec 28, 2014 15:16:23 GMT 1, Probably by backing it up, then restoring from back up. I can't see that there would be another way to do it.

Flashinvaders data, by sgolby on Dec 30, 2014 0:42:35 GMT 1, Hope to finally score some points next week, can't wait!
Word, i wish there was one place where the locations were listed in eachh city, maybe not all, but on rotation or something... I have found them in 4 cities so far but never found enough to do any damage, and i have none of the maps so trying to find them explicitly is a hassle... That said, i fucking love stumbling on them... Now my wife's eye is starting to get trained so she sees them which helps...

Flashinvaders data, by beatztom on Dec 30, 2014 12:45:10 GMT 1, I wish I'd have had more time to experiment with transferring flash invaders data... I switched from an iPhone 5 to a newer 5 and managed to transfer the data across no problem. I was in the 7000 point region with about 220 invaders flashed between London and Paris. I was mighty proud of my collection it had taken a lot of time and effort to compile.
About a week before going on holiday to Japan I got an iPhone 6 and did exactly the same procedure I used when I'd switched out the iPhone 5 only a month or two before. With all the excitement of going to Japan I didn't think to check flash invaders before my departure, despite being very excited about being able to flash some Tokyo pieces. A couple of days into my holiday I finally stumble across my first invader and pull out my iPhone with a huge cheeky grin on my face like it just scored some drugs or something. I launch the app, and I'm horrified when I see it asking me for my player name.... I can't even begin to describe the terrible sunken feeling I was experiencing... All those hours of exploring mostly Paris, down the drain! Ah well I was in Japan, first holiday since almost two years, and I wasn't going to let anything get in my way of enjoying it. In the end my new gallery starts with Tokyo which is pretty f**king cool. I'm back to the bottom of the scoreboard but what the hell, it's not like this is a competition!
The only thing I'm still really super gutted about is not having references to all the new invader pieces which aren't in the books. The gallery pictures are always well framed with good lighting and tell you the number of the piece. My own pictures are usually not as good and it's more complicated to find the references to newer pieces. There's also the fact that a lot of the ones I successfully flashed have been taken down!! Never be able to flash them again .... :-(.
Moral of the story is: Be careful when switching phones and definitely take normal pictures for your own collection just in case!
Here's the start of my new gallery for those who are curious ;-)
