South Carolina loves Faile, by smokey on Jan 6, 2015 2:08:19 GMT 1, Just saw a link to the most searched for artists by state on eBay and Faile was number one in South Carolina. As shocked as I am, it made me wonder if there are any other forum members from the Carolinas on here?

I don't own anything by them either but if you know SC you were probably a bit slicked too. I just moved back to Lancaster about 45 minutes south of Charlotte after a decade or so in Charleston? NODA still a fun li'l area?

South Carolina loves Faile, by cmodart on Jan 6, 2015 2:45:44 GMT 1, It has not changed much, but Southend and uptown have changed a good bit. Next time you are uptown, message me and come by my office. I am on a couple of committees at a local modern art museum and we have a number of events that would be interesting to you.

South Carolina loves Faile, by cmodart on Jan 6, 2015 2:51:32 GMT 1, I would have guessed romare Bearden for North Carolina. Many museums showcase his work as he was from Mecklenburg County. He was one of the most influential black artists of the 20th century, and we have a new park, romare Bearden park, in uptown Charlotte that is fantastic. It is a shame that there are states with Thomas Kincaid and Fazzino. Blech

South Carolina loves Faile, by smokey on Jan 6, 2015 3:01:44 GMT 1, Bearden was also well liked in Charleston. And agree w/ his importance. I'll definitely let you know next time I'm up that way Aaron. Only been up a couple of times since moving back to see old friends or shows at Plaza/Midwood.

South Carolina loves Faile, by yoyosh on Jan 6, 2015 5:27:07 GMT 1, This chart is insane. My home state has Berthe Morisot, how is that even possible?? I'd think Shep would be represented more if this is based on eBay sales/searches Thanks for posting
