Would you buy any of these?, by Stender on Mar 31, 2015 22:05:13 GMT 1, Would you buy any of the images on my flickr if they were prints? Wondering what peoples thoughts are as it isn't cheap to print so thought about crowdsourcing, e.g. if enough people wanted one I print it. Would print on 300gsm paper, 50x70cm 2 layer screen print for example say edition of 40 at ยฃ40 each.

The tone of your opening post sounds like you'd be interested in feedback too? If so, check out the "my own art amateur" thread, you'll get a lot of help and support there

Would you buy any of these?, by Aza on Apr 1, 2015 7:36:21 GMT 1, Just set yourself up a free bigcartel page. I suppose you could then do a pre order until you raise enough funds to do your screen print run. Or maybe cut some stencils and do some original runs on canvas first to raise some funds.

Would you buy any of these?, by jayTown on Apr 1, 2015 9:50:17 GMT 1, Have you put any onto canvas yet and seen if there's any interest there? I bet my Mrs would love that cow....has a weird love for them!
As for feedback, everyone is different so I'd just do what feels best represents you as an artist. Personally I prefer something that has a concept behind it, things like your bike or credit crunch. Not really a big fan of images of people like the mohican and einstein. Just find them a little hollow. But that's just my personal opinion.

Would you buy any of these?, by Stender on Apr 1, 2015 12:54:23 GMT 1, Thanks All, Appreciate the responses. I've done a lot of images on the computer but never taken them any further, but having just got into screen printing am now looking to produce some pieces.
Funny enough Jaytown I am screenprinting the Mohican abe lincoln tomorrow with a gold background and maybe few in another colour :-( I have done that one as an acrylic on canvas too and posted in the amateur section but didn't get much of a response hence was testing the waters with this post. The costs are adding up to do the screenprint but as suggested above I should just go for it and see what happens. Worse case I'll have 40 I can wallpaper the garage with!.
I was also concerned with Giclee printing as I have seen quite a few posts on here where people have expressed a dislike to it and a screen print snobishness :-) Printing a A1 Giclee works out even more expensive than screen.
