The London Police, Flying Fortress, Collin vd Sluijs, by lukedaduke on May 28, 2015 17:27:07 GMT 1, At the end of 2013, I stopped seeing statusupdates of Bytedust on Facebook or photo uploads on Flickr. A couple of months later, it came to me that Bytedust had died of an immune disease.
With this thought in mind, I contacted the family of Bytedust, or Dennis Douven. My idea was to organise an exhibition with artists that knew Bytedust or that where admired by him. His family was more than okay with this idea and here you can see the result: an international squad of artists that are happy to join in on this project and make work inspired by Bytedust.
All the made work is for sale, including a silent auction. The raised money will go to the Bart de Graaff Foundation. This foundation supported Dennis with setting up his own graphic design agency.
Now I have a London Police original canvas, a Flying Fortress original canvas and a Collin vd Sluijs original up for a silent auction. I am a bit late with posting on this forum; the auction closes this saturday May 30 at 23:59:59 (CET). You can mail your offers + your name, telephone number and email address to:vandalart2015@gmail.com
Here are the items + info:
The London Police by Luke Da Duke. Size is 50 x 50. Detected are Bytedust (Dennis Douven) and his dog Apple.
Collin van der Sluijs by Luke Da Duke 24 x 30 cm
Flying Fortress by Luke Da Duke 30 x 30 cm
All the works are original (I have emails to confirm that) and all the artists approve that I put these works up for auction. Please mail your offer before 23:59:59 coming saturday May 30 to vandalart2015@gmail.com use the same address for more info.

The London Police, Flying Fortress, Collin vd Sluijs, by lukedaduke on Dec 11, 2015 8:45:19 GMT 1, In May 2015, I organized and exhibition in memory of Dennis Douven, aka BYTEDUST. Many artists donated work, and the money made from those sales went to a good cause: the Bart de Graaff Foundation: bartfoundation.nl
One of the artists I asked to participate, were The London Police.
After the original work sold, they came up with the idea to produce a screen print of it and donate the revenue to the Bart de Graaff Foundation as well.
So here it is, signed and numbered by the artists themselves: a TLP original screen print. It's a one colour print on 300gr paper, size 50x50cm. This edition is limited to 39 prints. The first 5 prints are donated to BYTEDUST's family, so there are 34 prints left. First come, first serve.
Shipping information: Within the Netherlands, it will be send insured for โฌ8,60 Everywhere else, insured shipment is โฌ26,95 More info here: lukedaduke.bigcartel.com/product/the-london-police-x-bytedust
