Say what you like about the art but he/they sure can put on a show.
Have to agree amigo, whatever anyone says about him/ his art when he came to London I thought it was an awesome show. And giving out + signing free cans + posters + prints for all the revellers gotta admit he's a great showman and seems like a really nice guy for the 2 minutes I spoke to him. I say kudos to him for his success, I don't like all his work but some of it I love. My 2 cents

Brainwash pop-up, by Howard Johnson on Jul 26, 2015 2:52:57 GMT 1, While I've never been able to fully respect Mr. Brainwash after seeing Exit Through the Gift Shop, I have really kind of come around to his art. Sure its derivative and completely shallow but some of the images are just plain great from a purely decorative viewpoint. Artists like Koons and Hirst, and even Warhol for that matter, have/had an extensive staff participating in the creation of the art, so in the grand scheme of things I guess he cant really be faulted for running a factory type studio.
Plus, that Basquiat painting is a really clever comment on race relations in fine art. Of course any artistic credibility is negated by that awful LIITA homage.

This was one of maybe 2 or 3 out of the whole show I actually liked.
