Thanks for the kind words!
Just, hardly any of the auctions ended for "too much". Most of the auctions are ending below retail so lots of bargains in there. Miaz that is ending in 5 mins is a perfect example of that! Piece that costs $7.5k from gallery is not even $5k - www.solidarty.org/auction/miaz-brothers-015young-lady-7-original-painting/
Act quick!

Thanks for the support and congrats on a great pickup! If it wasn't for risking getting into uncomfortable "conflict of interest" situation, I'd surely put some bids on this one! Especially after seeing their work in Miami few days ago.
Thank you!

It is indeed a great pack that Borondo put together especially for this cause! Im humbled by his gesture!
And THANK YOU sir for the kind messages of support. Reading/hearing things like that keeps me going, that's for sure (as well as hearing about the great ways money raised has been spent so far).

Ploppi, whilst I would stand up for your right to freedom of speech even if I don't always agree with your point if view, I honestly think that you should start a separate thread for such a discussion. I think it would be a great shame if Sal's thread regarding his charitable efforts got derailed, or of his posts updating us regarding the auctions are lost amongst others discussing the issue you have raised.

I didn't say you were derailing the thread. I said that a discussion that you were starting could derail the thread. I didn't suggest that you shouldn't start the discussion. Merely that it would be better to start it in a seperate thread. I'll leave it there, or else I'm derailing the thread. Thanks.
