Watch out for this Choc Donut buyers, by Zippy on Dec 22, 2015 11:50:58 GMT 1, You are right in that it is weird but on reading it I believe the listing is only for the "COA". The seller has already sold the print and is now looking to offload the COA. Nice.

Watch out for this Choc Donut buyers, by Pipes on Dec 22, 2015 12:19:18 GMT 1, I saw this too.
Zippy I think the point OP is making is that a WCP version could easily have an 86 and a signature added (if WCP made a choice donut)

Watch out for this Choc Donut buyers, by trapnel1 on Dec 22, 2015 17:07:59 GMT 1, This is interesting - not something I've thought about before.
If someone buys a print on the secondary market, and applies to PC to register transfer of ownership, do they get a new COA?
If so, there may be quite a few old genuine COAs out there, which might be taken advantage of by someone unscrupulous......

Watch out for this Choc Donut buyers, by rebelate on Dec 22, 2015 18:20:20 GMT 1, Wow and there goes the neighborhood. There was a u/s GWB and Signed HMV on ebay recently, the prints themselves looks shady as hell but they were accompanied with what looked to be a real COA.
Maybe we're seeing a common trend here? COA no longer enough? Maybe deals need to be put on hold until PC responds with verification of legitimacy? I've always wondered how bad it would suck if someone bought a print with COA and later found out through PC that it was stolen. I guess everyone should add this new type of fuckery to their concerns too!

transfer of ownership is free if COA exists and no new COA required. I expect that you will only get issued a new COA if there isnt one in place then you'd be going through the print authentication process as opposed to transfer of ownership which you pay the fee for and i expect there will be more to it than transfer of ownership. I have transferred ownership many times and always troublefree, ive never applied for a COA.
