What are you looking forward to in 2016?, by Feral Things on Jan 6, 2016 17:54:32 GMT 1, I expect I'm not the only one that's had enough of logging on to find the recent posts dominated by the same points being made over and over again about PR and money, so it'd be nice to get back to the art. In that spirit, what are people looking forward to in 2016? Personally, I'm looking forward to:
- Katrin Fridriks' monograph which is currently scheduled for release later this month and will cover work from throughout her career.
- Dadaism was born at the Cabaret Voltaire in Zรผrich on 2 February 1916 and the venue is holding a series of events to celebrate the centenary
- Hieronymus Bosch exhibition in February at Hetnoordbrabants Museum to mark 500 years since his death in the same small Dutch town (I know it's not exactly 'urban art' but he was as punk as fuck)
- JonOne's 'Masterpieces' retrospective at Galerie le Feuvre in March which will include works from 1991 to 2008
- Taps and Moses aka Topsprayer have an exhibition at Kolly Gallery in Zรผrich in June; the gallery has a really good looking line of shows for the whole year too including a Gris1 show
- Os Gรชmeos finally having a show at Lehmann Maupin in New York.

I didn't know about the Bosch exhibition. I'm very partial to his work. No chance of me visiting it though. Can only hope they there is a book to accompany the exhibition.

Like others looking forward to Kaws in Yorkshire. Hope to go to the talk if I can get time off work. The Laz retrospective should be good.
Os Gem would be a show I would love to go to. After Coach is sorted could I put a shout put for a flyer should there be one? Plenty of others I can send in exchange. Thanks.

I will go to Den Bosch for the Jheronimus Bosch expo so if I can help anyone out with something I will be glad to.
